Women’s Asia 21
(Feminist journal in Japanese)
A quarterly feminist magazine that discusses from gender perspectives wide range of issues and introduces women’s issues and activities in Japan and around the world.

Women’s Information Reference Services
Based on the wide network that the AJWRC has developed in the past 30 years, we provide wide range of information and resources on women’s issues as well as materials of grassroots women’s groups in Japan and other parts of the world.

GENDER EDUCATION & TRAINING PROGRAMS

Empowerment seminars
We organize seminars and workshops regularly on various issues with feminist perspectives such as: violence against women, nationalism, economic issues, women’s movements in other parts of the world, feminist English, use of ICT, etc.

Women’s study tours
We organize study tours of women visiting women’s groups in other Asian countries to learn their issues and activities and to share information and experiences.

Training and Workshops
We provide lectures and trainings for youths, teachers, local governments and other groups that are interested in gender sensitive trainings and workshops.
CAMPAIGNS, ADVOCACY AND RESEARCHES

We monitor cases and policies that may violate women’s rights, run ad-hoc and long-term campaigns, and conduct feminist researches and surveys for advocacy purposes. We also actively participate in international feminist debates and campaigns.
