若い女性たちの視点から見る日本の「ジェンダー平等政策」
Japanese Gender Equality Policies from the Viewpoint of Young Women

　アジア女性資料センターは、ニューヨークで行われる第62回国連女性の地位委員会（UN Committee on the Status of Women / 通称CSW）にて、パラレルイベントを日本YWCAと共催します。
　現在、日本政府は「すべての女性が輝く社会」というスローガンを掲げて政策をおこなっていますが、例えば、世界経済フォーラムによるジェンダーギャップ指数では144か国中114位(2017年)にランクするなど、ジェンダー平等社会は実現されていません。イベントでは、現在の日本におけるジェンダー政策に焦点を当て、それらが女性たちにどのような影響を及ぼしているかをテーマに報告する予定です。今回は、20～30代の女性たち9人で参加するため、若い女性たちの視点からの報告としています。

Asia-Japan Women’s Resource Center will co-host a parallel event with YWCA of Japan at the 62nd UN Commission on the Status of Women in New York on 13 March.The Government of Japan upholds its policy efforts on gender equality, under slogans such as “a society in which women shine” and “Womenomics”; at the same time, Japan is ranked 114th out of 144 in gender equality rankings by World Economic Forum.This event will discuss the achievements and challenges of gender equality policies in Japan, in regards to how they actually influence women on the ground, especially from the perspective of young women.
